Which Supplements?

What to take?

As I start my morning routine and take all my supplements I think about the questions we get often.

What to take and when?

There are so many supplements out there and it can be confusing AND expensive!

Like our post about keeping it simple this also applies to taking your daily supplements.

There’s 2 streams of supplements-Health and Performance.

Health is number 1 and should always be your focus.

Daily supplements you should put focus on (and these are “supplement” to a good diet) Creatine, Vitamin C and D especially during the colder months, Magnesium, fish oil and an electrolyte.

This is a starting point. Pro tip! Have all your supplements in the same spot so each day you do the at the same time and get it done!

Next is Performance. These are none necessary supplements (Creatine is a must for health and performance and we are not listing all details benefits here as there are a million)

If you are doing regular fitness classes and strength training you can add a intra workout supplement like an electrolyte or small stimulant based (we have Muscle Up) that hydrates you and gives the small boost you need to add for better performance during workouts.

A lot of times people ask why should I take anything? Especially at 5/6 AM when it’s hard to digest food and Supps right away.

Well you “can” workout on fumes you will not have the same benefits as if you were to add fuel to the system. More reps, more energy, more output equals better results.
